It bridges the gap between the daily-driver Carrera S and the track-focused GT3/Turbo models by borrowing performance hardware from Porsche's top-tier departments while retaining excellent everyday usability.
Importantly, because Porsche transitioned the GTS to a T-Hybrid powertrain for the 2025 model year (992.2), the 2022–2024 model years represent the last pure, internal-combustion-only GTS generation.

Factory Performance Upgrades

• Brakes: High-performance braking system pulled straight from the 911 Turbo.
• Sound & Engagement: Less sound insulation and a standard GTS-specific sport exhaust produce a much rowdier flat-six soundtrack inside the cabin. |
