Vehicle Description
The 1st 280Z debuted in 1975, "280" referring to its increased 2.8 liters of displacement. Power output climbed to 149 horsepower. This example is a strong running Z that you can drive with confidence. Always a dry climate example, it displays solid original body panels throughout. In a further effort to keep the S30 models sporting in the face of increasingly stringent U.S. emission and safety requirements, Nissan Motors released the Datsun 280Z model for the U.S. market in the 1975 model year. Both the 2 seat coupe and 2/2 (2+2) hatchback models remained available throughout the 1975-78 model year run of the 280Z. The 1970-78 Datsun Z cars capture the spirit of the original design. This example has been fitted with latter ZX bumpers & 14-inch ZX wheels. The 280Z retained much of the original lines of the 240Z. With a wheelbase of 90.7 inches and an overall length of 173.2 inches, this Datsun rides on ZX 14-Inch alloy wheels wrapped in 195/70R14 radials all around.
